Abstract

This paper reports the results of a survey concerning people's speed consciousness. The survey was conducted primarily to obtain data on people's speed consciousness which cannot be obtained from observational data are government-issued statistics. This survey was conducted with the purpose of finding a clue to a hypothesis that there is a relationship between increasing trends and social speed and in the number of psychoneurotics, by investigating when and to what extent people tend to be irritable. The survey results affirmed the hypothesis.
