Abstract

I commend Harvey for his highly informative review of youth sports traumatic brain injury (TBI) laws, and in particular for making the full data set, codebook, and protocol available for future research.(1) In his conclusion, Harvey writes that we must ask whether any of these TBI laws "will substantially reduce TBIs in youth sports."(1(p1254)) (Am J Public Health. Published online ahead of print October 17, 2013: e1. doi:10.2105/AJPH.2013.301574).
