Abstract

The Special Issue is forwarded by the coordinators of three European funded projects that have been completed recently and that form the source for most of the research papers presented here. The Foreward is followed by twelve original research papers focusing on weather and climate-related impacts on various modes of transportation, with emphasis on the European region.
