Abstract

The above mentioned exemplary investigation was carried out by means of the Manson-Questionnaire, a construct oriented personality test. It examined to which extent such a procedure allows constructvalid measurements including its control scales of the conspicuous drivers in a situation which is prone to distortion. The connection between the scales as well as the correlation with the 16 personality factors was determined and assessed with regard to its construct validity of proven connections. Furthermore it was determined to which extent the observation of the scales show recognisable patterns which can be interpreted as patterns of personal insight and self presentation. The results show that construct oriented personality scales of conspicuous drivers can indeed be applied in a constructvalid manner. Furthermore it is confirmed that response tendencies, as recorded in the control scales, can be informative with regard to personal insight and self presentation.
