Abstract

The authors analysed a network element of the A-level road network. Road Nr. 82.was analysed in order to determine the difference between the characteristic of the existing road network and referred parameters of the road design regulations. It was proved trough accidental statistics and geoinformatics analyses that there was coherence between horizontal and vertical curves and the number and the severity of the accidents on the road Nr. 82. 2014 Periodica Polytechnica Transportation Engineering.
