Abstract

The aims of this study are to analyze the paths of long vehicles at a series of road situations using computer simulation, to draw attention to the types of problems which can arise and, if possible, to suggest methods of alleviating such difficulties. The situations discussed include problems on road links between interchanges, problems at traffic circles, problems with right turns onto dual highways, problems in a segregated left turn lane at a traffic circle, and problems with deliveries in urban centers.
