Abstract

A certain fuel cell car is chosen as the virtual test object. On the basis of the finite element model and virtual test field, the frontal crash is simulated by means of a proper calculation method. The injury-index of dummy in frontal crash is analyzed to evaluate the body structure of the fuel cell car in terms of passive safety in frontal crash.
