Abstract

This article introduces a system on preventing traffic accident based on WebGIS. System mainly adopts B/S mode, constructed by ASP, JSP, VC and MO. It manages spatial data and property data by using ARCSDE and Oracle, provides map service by using ArcIMS. The system can get a region where a traffic accident maybe happen through modeling based on GIS spatial analysis, prevent the traffic accident from happening. Furthermore, when the accident happens, the system can quickly deal with the traffic accident. At the same time, it can, according to law, get the transact result by using CBR (case-based reasoning) and RBR (rule-based reasoning).
