Abstract

Visual system is an important aspect of virtual driving simulator. In this paper, the systemic composing and principle of 6 DOF virtual driving simulator are introduced, and the visual system is developed based on advanced simulation software (MultiGen Creator and OpenGVS SDK) combining with the Object-Oriented method. The techniques in visual simulating system, such as dynamics modeling, object modeling and collision detection, are briefly discussed. The immersion of this visual simulation has been confirmed experimentally.
