Abstract

Based on the nonlinear finite element theory and the finite element analysis program LS-DYNA, the 3D finite element calculation mode of ship and collision-preventing device of the piers are built. The ship-bridge collision characteristic, the energy absorption trait and damage of the collision-preventing device and ship structure are discussed. Meanwhile, the rate of the main components, the non-linear characteristic for collision force curve and the main absorbing components (the outside plane of the ship and collision-preventing device) are also concluded in this paper.
