Abstract

After analyzing the shortcomings of the traditional intersection design method, this paper demonstrates the necessity of developing the software of the urban intersection design system and proposes the system functions in detail. Then the system frame based on ObjectARX (developed by AutoDesk Corp.) and data base technology-and the database design are presented. Finally, in order to further demonstrate the research, the implementation of the system and a case study are introduced.
