Abstract

This paper studies some extensive ways of eliminating crosstalk in induction loop detectors. The objectives are to determine: the minimum spacing required to prevent crosstalk in ILDs; the potential for crosstalk between parallel lead wires; the potential for crosstalk in the controller cabinet. The results of the studies are presented in detail and some practical applications these results are provided.
