Abstract

The results of a study of motorist understanding of selected warning signs currently in use in Kansas are presented. The study's objectives are to assess public understanding of certain warning signs currently in use in Kansas and, if appropriate, to make specific recommendations to improve public comprehension of these signs through education programs and/or changes in certain warning signs.
