Abstract

The relationship between the seasonal variation of pavement skid resistance was measured by the British pendulum tester and a rain day frequency parameter for the location of the pavement site. Data for sites near Sydney were obtained over the same two-year period as for the other capital city locations, but its analysis was deferred primarily because skid resistance was measured using the 'SCRIM' road testing vehicle (Oliver, Tredrea and Pratt 1988). This note gives the results of an analysis of the data from the 11 sites which were tested.
