Abstract

This paper proposes transport policy instruments, such as infrastructure, management, and information provision measures, as means to reduce or eliminate transport problems in Croatia. Improved provision of passenger transit, improved bicycling paths and lanes, and improved pedestrian walkways are deemed important solutions to making roadways more traffic friendly. A range of ideas are given to reduce congestion, improve accessibility, and improve overall traffic conditions for those who depend on public transit, while maintaining high environmental standards and compliance.
