Abstract

This brief article examines the case of the monocular driver seeking to be licensed for Class I professional driving such as school buses, public transportation, and emergency vehicles from the point of view of the clinical physician. Weighing circumscribed and even conflicting research against sound clinical judgment, it is concluded that the monocular driver should not be licensed for Class I professional driving.
