Abstract

It is undeniable that vision is a very important factor in driving as has also been suggested in the preceding paper by Dr. Paul L. Connolly, yet visual failure is infrequently a cause of automobile accidents. There are most definitely cases in which faulty vision or perception as the causative factor remain undetected. By studying and interpreting pertaining circumstances, we may find out what can be done in order to prevent them in the future. I would like to tell you of some automobile accidents reported in the German literature in which the cause was most probably visual.
