Abstract

This feature describes the resources and tools developed by the national center for safe routes to school, the clearinghouse for the national safe routes to schools program. The program provided $612 million over 5 years to improve the ability of primary and middle school students to walk and bicycle to school safely. Ite's role as a partner and ways that ite members can get involved in this program are described.
