Abstract

Dr. S. E. Sulkln, Southwestern Medical School, Dallas, Texas, reports that rabies virus was recovered from the brain of a human case. The victim, a 9-year old boy, first developed symp­ toms on January 5, approximately 5 months after exposure to a rabid dog. Death occurred 13 days after onset of symptoms.
