Thesaurus Term : Plastic Baton Rounds

Scope note
Plastic baton rounds are solid PVC cylinders that are 15 centimeters (6 inches) in length and weigh 98 to 133 grams (3.5 - 4.7 ounces). The projectiles are designed to be fired from a special anti-riot gun at a muzzle velocity of approximately 160mph and from at least 20 meters away from a target. They are designed, at that distance, to deliver a comparable blow as that from a policeman's handheld baton. However, they are not always used as designed.
