abstract="In the campaign against drunk driving, the "third-generation" Weekend Intervention Program (WIP) met its clinical goals and was superior to education and treatment programs when treating DWI recidivists. Even in the face of the harsher legal climate in the case of WIP, this new intervention approach produced a lower recidivism rate than the control group. These positive findings suggest the need for further research with larger cell samples.",
