abstract="We analyse eye injuries in 50 miners who came to our Eye Hospital following an accident involving a defective high pressure hose. Depending on the nature of the accident we can distinguish 3 types, correlating with the severity of the injury. The majority of cases presented primarily as blunt bulbus traumata.
