abstract="The importance of traumatic lesions in our country and its high morbidity is highlighted in this article, stressing the point that prevention not only consists in warning the population of the danger of accidents and their consequences, but prevention is a scientifically proved work area that involves experts of various disciplines -- physicians, nurses, epidemiologists, psychologists, teachers, traffic officers, road engineers and lawyers, among others.
