abstract="The aim of this study is the modelling of one of the stages of an oil drill, to provide a simulation and a forecasting tool to the staff working in the yards. The process used by drilling companies was studied and evaluated. We especially consider the well's geometry and the fluids motions and the thermal exchanges which are present during these operations. This modelling is the first part of this work. This study leads to the formulation of software allowing the calculation of temperatures at the bottom of the well. This software development is now in process. We will explain in the second part of this paper the mathematical methods used.<p />",
