abstract="By a retrospective review of a sole practitioner's ophthalmology practice's medical records for occupation-related eye injuries, eight diagnoses were analyzed to show a relationship to a categorized industry list of seven. The industries were then analyzed against eleven variables. The medical records reviewed were from January 2000-May 2007, giving a population size of 44 patients. The 44 medical records were from a sole ophthalmology practice in East Texas. After a statistical evaluation using the chi-square-based Cramer's V measure of association, the documented highest number of treated occupational eye injuries occurred in the year of 2007.<p /> <p>Language: en</p>",
