abstract="We made out two ranking tables of alcohol consumption norms for Japanese adult men and women based on National Health and Nutrition Survey Japan. 2005. and Nationwide Survey of Alcohol Drinking and Alcoholism among Japanese adults. From the tables, we drew Ranking Lists, which rank subjects out of 100 Japanese men or women in the frequency and quantity of drinking, and visually indicate heavier drinkers as higher and less degree. In the UK or US, such tables and charts already have been made out from their norms, and carried on the websites and used in the PROJECT MATCH by NIAAA. So we attempted to make them out from Japanese norms, and intend to use these charts for brief intervention at medical examinations in the workplace and at medical institutions, in order to motivate heavy drinkers to receive treatment and modify their drinking behavior according to self-regulation model by Agostinelli, G. et al., as well as to encourage them to recognize their danger of over-drinking objectively.<p /> <p>Language: ja</p>",
