abstract="Injuries induced by anti-personal mines are special group of war injuries. Their prevalence is increasing and they afflict also civilians. As regards their mechanism they can be divided into three groups. In treatment principles of war surgery must be respected and procedures based on the experience of surgeons working in war conflicts in recent years.
