abstract="This article reports on the process and outcome of an innovative group approach called Lifestories. Eight older adults from a retirement center were participants in a six session adventure-based group which focused on the discussion and exploration of death. All participants and a comparison group were administered fear of death, depression, self-efficacy and self-report inventories. Both objective and anecdotal results are presented and discussed, and clinical implications are presented.<p />",
