abstract="Poetry groups are providing opportunities for older people to reminisce and integrate Important life experiences related to cultural identity. This paper describes a poetry group experience for older Navajo Indian people which promotes their reminiscence of &quot;sheepherdmg&quot; youth experiences. Group members have identi- fied the challenges they faced and the knowledge they acquired while &quot;sheepherding&quot; and the ways in which these themes have and are currently impacting their life experiences.<p />",
