abstract="A 50-year-old male traffic accident victim sustained high-energy trauma leading to intra-thoracic fracture-dislocation of the humeral head. Dislocation of the humeral head into the thoracic cavity is a very rare injury. Only twelve cases have been reported in the literature. Treatment modalities vary and no guidelines have been proposed.
