abstract="The link between alcohol and crime is well-documented and yet alcohol, as a cause of crime, is largely ignored when initiatives are developed to tackle crime. In recognition of this, the All-Party Group on Alcohol Misuse. a cross-party forum for Members of Parliament and House of Lords peers, undertook an Enquiry into the link between alcohol and crime. Evidence was received from a wide range of organizations, including criminal justice agencies. The Group drew up a report summarizing evidence received and putting forward a range of recommendations aimed at tackling alcohol-related crime. The report has acted as a stimulus for debate around the issues and contributed to a growing acceptance that alcohol-related crime is an issue that needs addressing.<p /><p>Language: en</p>",
