abstract="The paper deals with the problem in the use of biomechanics in forensic and medical practice, in the application of current biomechanical progress in the experimental investigations of the workers of the Department of Forensic Medicine, I. M. Sechenov Moscow Medical Academy. The experimental and theoretical findings have permitted elaboration of a new concept of the development of intracranial lesions in brain injuries. The original studies have provided a biomechanical model of cranial injury, a comprehensive evaluation of damages caused to the passenger and the driver in the currently available cars. The ways of further development and improvement of experimental studies of biomechanical problems and their practical application are outlined.<p /><p>Language: ru</p>",
