abstract="<p>The Office of Forensic Medicine provides clinical forensic services to the State of Victoria, Australia. A major part of the work is in traffic medicine; including the review of license files of drivers with medical conditions. Medical conditions can impair driving skills, thus recognition of this fact and issuance of specific guidelines for the issuing of drivers' licenses may reduce the contribution of such illnesses to the causation of road trauma.</p>",
