abstract="This article is a follow-up discussion on a crash test case study that was offered in a previous issue of Collision. The accident involved a 2000 Chevrolet Malibu and a 1991 Geo Metro. Although the accident was staged, the case study was approached as if the crash had occurred on a public road and the analysis conducted with only the scant evidence available at the scene. The approach angle of both vehicles and the departure angle of the Malibu were derived from the scene data. The departure angle of the Geo was calculated and the impact velocity of the Geo was estimated. The post-impact velocity of both vehicles and the impact velocity of the Malibu were derived from the sensing and diagnostic module data.<p />",
