abstract="In this paper based on the archival material of the institute between the years 1998-2002 the deaths of children and young people up to 18 years of age are presented on the background of the general problems of forensic toxicology. Violent death concerns 128 cases, among those 25 were subjected to toxicological investigation. The discussion material includes suicidal and accidental poisonings with drugs and substance of abuse, volatile solvents, carbon monoxide, and deaths in fire. In the list of the discussed cases there are dead bodies of newborns found on rubbish dumps and accidental fatal poisonings of small children.<p /><p>Language: pl</p>",
