abstract="Two patients were bitten by Egyptian cobra (Naja haje). One became drowsy and developed transient ptosis 24 hours later. The other lost consciousness and died within two hours of the bite, but no cause was revealed by autopsy. A third patient developed severe transient neurological signs after being bitten by an unidentified snake. The small literature on bites by this species is discussed.<p /><p>Language: en</p>",
