abstract="This paper describes the evaluation of the performance of 2 evidential breath testing instruments, the Dragar Alcotest 7110 MKIII(D) and a Camic Datamaster (C). The instruments were tested on a) a group of drivers suspected of drunken driving in conjunction with normal blood sampling procedures and b) a group of volunteers who were given alcoholic beverages under controlled conditions. The performance of both instruments was considered to be very similar and correlated well with the blood alcohol results.<p />",
