abstract="The prevalence of driving under the influence of drugs other than alcohol is growing worldwide. Typically police training programs include a variety of procedures to look and test for driving under the influence of alcohol, but these training programs rarely deal with other drugs. Under a grant from the National Institute on Drug abuse an interactive CD-ROM based training program was developed to educate police officers in how to detect drugged drivers. This course is highly interactive building on SFST/Alcohol training and includes modules on drug classification, drug effects on behavior, training to conduct on-site drug tests, SFST refresher material, and an integrated examination.<p />",
