abstract="While organizations are responsible for providing a safe work environment for their employees, it is oftentimes difficult to do so solely through safety engineering. Workers must also be aware of the hazards in their workplace and adjust their behavior to avoid risk. A &quot;Safety Diagnosis Questionnaire&quot; was developed to address the issue of human behavior in the work environment. It regards human behavior in hazardous situations as the most crucial point in the diagnostic activity. Characteristics of the survey instrument and results from the application of the questionnaire are reported.<p />",
