abstract="Following the lead set by the United States and Australia, the microscooter crazxe has not brought a sharp rise in injuries to The Netherlands. The accident data show that there was a more or less constant total of 180 victims a year treated at hospital Accident and Emergency departments between 1997 and 1999. A rise during the second half of 2000 brought the number of microscooter injuries that year to 700.",
