abstract="UNLABELLED: Authors highlighted some aspects regarding domestic violence in an urban community, during 13 years. MATERIAL AND METHOD: The study included 31406 individuals from the county, with various aggressions, from which 1433 (53.43%) from Piatra Neamţ Town and 2682 (8.53%) were victims of domestic violence < 20-61 aged. RESULTS: Domestic violence prevalence in Piatra Neamţ Town, comparatively with county, had values of 6.21% in 1997 and 7.10% in 2009. Cumulatively for 13 years, female victims were 1081 (75.43%), comparatively with males 352 (24.56%). A percent of 79.51% of cases interested 21-60 aged active social groups. The gravity of domestic violence lesions were distributed in 4 categories, from 10 to 61 days of hospitalization. CONCLUSIONS: Negative social economical involvements of domestic violence for individual, family and community, presented various aspects, some of them difficult to quantify (hospitalisation, absenteeism, temporary work incapacity a.s.o).<p /> <p>Language: ro</p>",
