abstract="The impact of marital violence on child development is a phenomenon, which in the scientific field, in particular in France, is too little taken into account, whereas it as well poses at the society anthropological, sociological and psychological questions. From the 148 international publications listed on this topic, we extracted 36 publications having an empirical and experimental dynamics, bearing on the development of the children raised in a context of marital violence. The first level of analysis allows a reflexion on the various methodologies used as regards research on children evolving in this context. The second level is centered on the results of this work and in particular, the various consequences which marital violence exerts on the child development. New research however deserves to be undertaken with a more ecological approach and methodologies based on the proper point of view of the child rather than that of his mother.<p />",
