abstract="Conflict resolution is especially serious when violence is involved because violence can make anything tainted and disfigured. Christians should look at the realities that have been created in the name of what is sacred, with the humility to feel the obligation to repent and do better. Nonviolent methods can help conflict resolution in the Middle East move forward, and Christians should promote a public space for people to bring about peace. There are many things Christians can do to move beyond tolerance, including fostering hospitality. This is an edited and abridged transcript of a presentation and panel discussion.<p />",
