abstract="The management of 131 civilians with war injuries, treated at the Department of Surgery, Pozega County Hospital, during the 1991-1995 period is presented. The majority of 55 (42%) of patients were injured at the front line. There were 75 (57.3%) of patients with explosive injuries 67 (51.2%) involved the extremities, while 29 (22.1%) involved the head.
