abstract="CASE REPORT: An 88-year-old woman was found dead, and suicidal ingestion of profenofos, an organophosphate pesticide, was suspected. METHOD: Gas chromatography-nitrogen phosphorus detection was employed for quantitation of profenofos after its identification by gas chromatography/mass spectrometry.
