abstract="The retraction of a study, erroneously, due to a data assembling error, giving evidence for significantly increased suicide rates in U.S. counties after single, severe natural disasters, is commented on. However, the now corrected non-significant overall results, based on pre-post comparisons of pooled suicide rates, do not necessarily rule out possible meso-level anomalies in postdisaster suicide occurrence, which should be further investigated applying tests for time-space clustering.<p />",
