abstract="In 1988 two patients intoxicated with scopolamine were treated in the department of psychiatry. Clinically an acute paranoid-hallucinatory psychosis was to be observed. Similar cases were reported from other parts of the country, partly proved by toxicological findings. In the cases seen by us scopolamine was applicated secretly in drinks and food with criminal intention.
