abstract="In 77 systematically training young ice-hockey players aged 11--13 years their physical working capacity was assessed by the bicycle ergometric test PWC-170, and their heart volume was measured teleroentgenometrically. The physical working capacity of young ice-hockey players considerably exceeded that of their non-training coevals and older children. A positive correlation was found between the magnitude of the physical working capacity and the heart volume: the greater the initial heart volume, the higher the physical working capacity.<p /><p>Language: en</p>",
