abstract="<p>Rather than being overwhelmed by the amount of injury prevention information we can provide to our patients, consider arming yourself with a few key pieces of information that you can share with appropriate subsets of your patient population. Don't forget that we still command a lot of respect with many of our patients, even when we don't think that we do, and a few well-chosen and well-timed words from you could help to save lives. Advocacy is also an excellent way to promote injury prevention and can occur anywhere from the halls of our state and national capitals to the offices of our hospital administrators. We're making good progress in reducing traffic deaths, and your hard work and careful attention will help keep those trends moving in the right direction.</p> <p>Language: en</p>",
