abstract="A woman attempted to murder her husband by filling his bedroom with calor gas. A blood sample was taken from the husband about six hours after he was removed from exposure. A method was devised, using gas chromatography, to detect the constituents of calor gas in the blood. The compositions of Calor Gas, Calor Propane, and natural (North Sea) gas are compared.<p />",
